This policy explains what information is collected when you visit this site or buy the guide, and what is done with it.

Who is responsible

This site is operated by SalesAlem ("I", "me"), an independent sole operator selling internationally. I am the data controller for the information described below, and I handle it to the standard set by the EU and UK GDPR regardless of where you are. What is collected

• Purchase information. When you buy, checkout is handled by Payhip. They collect your name, email address, billing country and payment details. I receive your name, email and order details — I never see or store your full card number.
• Email address. Used to deliver the guide and to contact you about it.
• Basic site analytics. Anonymous, aggregated data such as page views and referring source, where enabled.

How it is used, and on what legal basis

• To deliver the product and provide support — necessary to perform the contract you entered into when you bought.
• To send you updates to the guide you bought — my legitimate interest in supporting a product you own. You can opt out at any time.
• To comply with tax and accounting obligations — necessary to meet a legal obligation.
• Basic analytics — my legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, in aggregated form only.

Your information is never sold or rented to anyone, and it is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who it is shared with

Only with the services needed to run this business: Payhip (checkout, payment and delivery) and the site's hosting provider. Each processes your data under its own privacy policy.

How long it is kept

Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically five years from the end of the financial year). Your email address is kept while you are a customer, or until you ask for it to be removed from any mailing list — whichever comes first.

Where your data is processed

Payhip and the site's hosting provider may process data outside your own country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, those providers rely on the safeguards required by law, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access the personal data I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for using it. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK and you think your data has been handled improperly, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection supervisory authority.

This site uses only the cookies required for it to function and, where enabled, basic analytics. Checkout may set cookies from Payhip as part of processing your order.
